Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Can I pay with cash?
Tickets must be purchased in advance through EZtix. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Cash is not accepted.
What should I expect if I take a Walla Walla Food Tour?
Our tour guides will lead you on an easy-paced walking tour where you will learn about the history and culture of Walla Walla and enjoy delicious food specialties from local chefs.
How much walking is involved? Is it a fast-paced tour?
We cover about 1.1 miles and walk at a casual pace. Two locations have stairs. There are opportunities to sit down inside some of the restaurants. But be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
How much food is served on the tours?
There are six stops on our tours where you will enjoy a dish and there are three stops which also include a drink. For most people there is more than enough food for a meal. Lunch before or after the tour should not be necessary. Come hungry!
What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?
We CAN accommodate for vegetarians and for those who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage!
Unfortunately we are NOT able to accommodate other food sensitivities such as diary-free, gluten-free, etc., at this time.
Where should I park?
There are three parking lots within walking distance. Most downtown Walla Walla parking is limited to 2 hours. However, these parking lots allow longer parking.

Is this food tour appropriate for children?
Our tours have been developed for food and history lovers. Whether to bring your child or not is ultimately up to your discretion, but please note that all children, regardless of age, need a paid ticket.
Are the walking tours given in bad weather?
All of our tours are held rain or shine. You should dress appropriately for the day’s weather conditions. Before purchasing tickets, please be aware of the possible weather conditions for that time of year. In the rare situation where we are forced to cancel an event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule to another time (subject to availability).
How should I dress during a tour?
Please dress casual, comfortable, and appropriate for the different seasons. Wear shoes comfortable for walking.
How many people can attend a tour?
The maximum number of people per tour is 8-10.
Are there any beverages served on the tour?
This tour includes drinks at 4 of our stops. Drinks include wine and beer, however, non-alcoholic drinks are available to those who request it. Please be sure to indicate this choice when buying your tickets
Where do the tours start?
Upon purchasing your tickets, you will receive the exact location where you will meet the tour group.
Do the tours end in the same place we start?
The tours do not end in the same location. However, if you would like to return to the meeting location, your guide will supply you with directions to return to the starting point.
Are restrooms available during the tour?
Restrooms are available in some of the tour stop locations.
Is time allotted for shopping during the tour?
We have so much to cover during the course of the tour that we don’t have time for shopping. However, you will be provided a printed guide at the beginning of the tour, so you can easily return to your favorite stores to shop after the tour is over.
Are cameras allowed on the tour?
Absolutely. Cameras are allowed and encouraged along the tour. There will be many great photo ops! Feel free to post to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tripadvisor, etc.
Are tour guide gratuities included in the price?
Walla Walla Food Tours does not include gratuities in the cost of our tours. If you had a great time, gratuities are accepted and appreciated by our tour guides.
May I bring my dog on the tour?
Due to the various food establishments we will visit, no pets of any kind are allowed on this tour.
Are gift certificates available?
Yes, gift certificates are available for Walla Walla Food Tours and make great gifts for holidays, birthdays or any other occasion! To purchase a gift certificate for one of our tours, please visit our gift certificate tab.
Can I book a private tour?
Yes, private tours are available for all size groups. To inquire about a private tour, please contact us at info@wallawallafoodtours.com. A Walla Walla Food Tours representative will contact you to inform you if the date and time requested is available.
